Baked Apples against Heart Arrhythmias
Heart arrhythmias, or heart rhythm problems, are a very common health condition nowadays. They occur when the electrical impulses that coordinate your heartbeats don’t work as they should, causing your heart to beat too fast, too slow or irregularly.
Although this heart condition may not always cause certain signs or symptoms, there are several more common ones and these include:
- Fainting or near fainting
- Chest pain
- A fluttering in the chest area
- Shortness of breath
- Slow heartbeat (bradycardia) or racing heartbeat (tachycardia)
There are many things that can lead to this condition and some of them include: high blood pressure, diabetes, drug abuse, stress, smoking, excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine, experiencing a heart attack, certain changes to the heart’s structure, scarring of heart tissue from a prior heart attack, and overactive or underactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism/ hypothyroidism).
Patients who suffer from arrhythmia should incorporate some basic lifestyle changes such as: regular exercising, quit smoking and drink alcohol in moderation, strive to maintain a healthy body weight and always keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels under control.
Here’s an alternative and all-natural recipe against arrhythmia.
Baked Apples against Arrhythmia
- 1 sour apple
Preparation and Therapy:
Take the sour apple, wash it well and scoop out the core from its top. Bake it together with its peel for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). When it cools down a bit, glaze it with honey and eat it in whichever period of the day you want. Do this for a period of 40 days.
The pectin in the skin of apples lowers the bad cholesterol, while the minerals potassium and magnesium help to control blood pressure. Consume one apple per day.
